Job Summary
Define and lead enterprise infrastructure strategy across storage, virtualization, HCI, and disaster recovery while acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders. Establish multi-year roadmaps aligned with hybrid cloud adoption and consumption-based models like HPE GreenLake and Dell APEX. Oversee architecture standardization, platform lifecycle management, and financial modeling for cost optimization. Own DR strategy, replication architectures, and business continuity validation exercises. Partner with managed services leadership to enhance delivery quality, establish KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in incident response and capacity planning. Lead strategic client engagements, support pre-sales solutioning, and expand the managed services footprint. Build and mentor high-performing teams of architects and engineers while establishing centers of excellence for key technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure technologies including VMware, Nutanix, VxRail, Dell PowerFlex, and enterprise storage platforms
- Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure environments across hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems
- Strong background in disaster recovery, replication technologies, and business continuity planning
- Hands-on experience with consumption-based infrastructure models (HPE GreenLake, Dell APEX or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to align infrastructure strategy with business and financial objectives
- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks, operational processes, and managed services delivery models
- Experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, and large-scale infrastructure optimization
- Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- 15-20+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, with at least 10+ years in leadership roles, and at least 5+ years in people leadership roles showing increasing levels of seniority
- Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or consulting organization
- Prior experience leading and developing managers
- Proven track record of growing a business with documented cases of close collaboration with sales executives
- Expertise in hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience building or scaling managed services portfolios and delivery frameworks
- Prior experience building or turning around high-performance managed services teams
- Prior experience implementing and scaling ITIL and LEAN process frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, ServiceNow, scripting frameworks)
- Strong financial acumen related to infrastructure cost models and consumption-based services
