Job Summary
Senior Director of Information Systems provides executive leadership and strategic direction for EMWD’s Information Systems Department, planning, organizing, and directing comprehensive information systems programs to support operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and long-term strategic goals. The role requires visionary, collaborative leadership with extensive experience in enterprise information systems, cybersecurity, and large-scale IT program management. Lead high-performing teams, foster a culture of innovation and accountability, and drive enterprise initiatives across security, SCADA, GIS, and network infrastructure to enable efficient, secure service delivery across the district.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible information systems experience
- Five (5) years in a management capacity
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is desirable
