Job Summary
Direct major gift fundraising across Luminis Health's two campuses, managing a frontline team and overseeing moves management, portfolio activity, and solicitation goals. Develop and implement standard practices for donor cultivation, stewardship, and planned giving, while building a system-level prospect pipeline using Salesforce. Lead funding priority management by collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to validate opportunities and create compelling case statements. Oversee the grateful patient program, donor namings, and Foundation campaign execution to ensure consistent brand alignment and philanthropic outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum ten years of progressive fundraising experience
- demonstrated success in leadership and major gift work
- Minimum three years of experience leading a high-functioning fundraising staff
- Proven ability to lead and develop a frontline fundraising team in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of moves management principles and portfolio-based fundraising strategy
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
- commitment to data-driven processes and decision-making
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- ability to produce compelling donor proposals and funding priority documents
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational lines and build effective relationships with clinical and administrative leaders
- regular travel between the Annapolis and Lanham campuses
- Light work, as defined by exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with healthcare philanthropy, grateful patient programs, and clinician engagement
- Healthcare fundraising experience
- CFRE certification
