Job Summary
Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning while developing models for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and capital investments. Prepare executive reporting packages and dashboards to analyze revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow, driving continuous improvement in planning accuracy. Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and functional leaders to evaluate growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and operational improvements, supporting merger, acquisition, and integration activities through financial due diligence. Present financial recommendations to senior leadership and executive committees, ensuring consistency and integrity of enterprise-wide reporting. Manage the FP&A team, establish performance expectations, and foster cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Accounting, and Operational Leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of progressive Finance or FP&A experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- Minimum 8 years leading high-performing finance teams
- Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, operational KPIs, and performance management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Exceptional analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership through data-driven recommendations
- Experience within distribution / retail, commercial construction, building products, industrial distribution, or manufacturing
- Experience supporting multi-location operations
- Experience with ERP systems and enterprise planning applications
- Experience utilizing Power BI, Planful, Hyperion, or similar reporting platforms
- Experience working within a publicly traded company environment, preferably in a Fortune 500 organization
