Job Summary
Senior Director of Finance will lead the FP&A, strategy planning, and operational finance functions across a multi-location national footprint. Partners with the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership to develop models, processes, and insights that guide short- and long-term execution of the strategic plan. Acts as a trusted advisor translating complex financial data into actionable insights, evaluates gross margin and profitability at multiple levels, and supports strategic initiatives including M&A due diligence and new revenue streams. Spearheads transition from manual tools to next-generation planning systems (e.g., DataRails, Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI), conducts in-depth cash flow analysis, and leads monthly reporting packages with KPIs. Oversees development of financial models, monitors labor utilization, WIP, backlog, and growth trends, and contributes to quarterly earnings releases and investor relations. Requires 15+ years in financial leadership, CPA/MBA or PE experience, and proficiency with budgeting/analytic tools; a true leader who can motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
- CPA, MBA, Public Company, or Private Equity Experience
- Budgeting/Planning/Analytic Tool Experience such as Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics, Planful, Anaplan, Vena OneStream, HFM, Alteryx, or Tableau all a plus
- A true professional and leader with soft and hard skills
- Ability to motivate, lead and grow a team
- Positive attitude with transparency and flexibility
