Job Summary
Senior-level leadership role directing Family Wealth Consulting efforts to attract, grow, and retain ultra-high net worth client relationships through sophisticated planning across tax, trusts/estates, wealth transfer, and business transition strategies. Lead advisory engagements, develop value propositions, collaborate with Family Wealth Strategists and other lines of business, and expand external partnerships (COIs) while representing the organization externally. Responsibilities include prospecting and pipeline management, guiding private business owner engagements, delivering complex planning solutions, and traveling to counsel professionals across the Key Bank footprint. Requires a proven track record in wealth management for UHNW clients, fiduciary wealth planning expertise, and high-caliber communication skills. JD, CPA, CFA, or CFP designation is required.
Required Qualifications
- Ten years wealth management or advisory experience for ultra-high net worth individuals, families and family offices
- Deep knowledge of private business transition and transaction strategies, including counseling ownership team on value optimization through tax strategies
- Experience integrating fiduciary, wealth planning (trust, taxes, business succession/sale planning, estates and wealth transfer)
- Investment acumen and business development
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) on full spectrum of client and COI profiles – from C-level executives to younger generations
- JD, CPA or CFA/CFP required
