Job Summary
Develop annual solicitation plans and lead fundraising oversight for the Office of Institutional Advancement, managing portfolios of annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving prospects. Supervise development staff and direct the annual endowment campaign while cultivating relationships with donors to meet or exceed fundraising goals. Create Call Reports, written strategies, and performance metrics for each team member, ensuring alignment with University goals and strategic plans. Collaborate with Communications, Alumni Relations, and other departments to coordinate internal resources, evaluate donor prospects, and implement methods for improving productivity and collaboration. Manage operating budgets, conduct annual performance assessments, and coordinate special event fundraising requests in support of the university's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Social Work, Accounting, or related field
- A minimum of seven years' experience in higher education, with an established record in fundraising, or marketing, supplemented by skill in planning, program evaluation, statistical analysis, and budget management
- Legally operate an automobile in the State of North Carolina, valid driver's license

- Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Must be able to navigate a computer, virtual platforms, and possess a keen knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
