Job Summary
Senior Director of Annual Programs leads and shapes the McDonogh Fund and annual fundraising program, providing innovative leadership, oversight, and strategic direction. Responsibilities include supporting the Chief Philanthropy Officer, supervising the capital program team, managing a portfolio of prospects, coordinating Moves Management, developing cross-team projects and communications, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and annual goal-setting for the Office of Philanthropy, participating in the annual budgeting process, and fostering an inclusive culture. Requires collaboration, strategic thinking, and strong communication and organizational skills to advance philanthropy goals within a fast-paced educational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- at least 5-7 years of experience in alumni relations, development, nonprofit management, client service or related field
- Demonstrated experience with fundraising databases - Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Strong computer and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google suites
