Senior Director of Accounting

Senior Director of Accounting for ND Defense leading the organization’s accounting function end-to-end, including establishing and maintaining accounting systems, directing analysis and reporting of financial information (budgets, planning, filings), producing financial-status reports for senior management, establishing internal controls, preparing financial statements and audits, ensuring timely reconciliations of journal entries and invoices, and building a qualified staff. The role emphasizes governance, manufacturing/defense accounting, ERP optimization, and leveraging AI/automation to scale operations; requires government-contract experience, DCMA knowledge, and a track record of leadership with five or more direct reports.
