Job Summary
Develop and implement complex contracting strategies in partnership with Market Leaders to align with network development and cost management objectives. Lead the provider contracting team, mentor staff, and set clear goals while collaborating with Network Monitoring & Performance to identify gaps and expand provider access. Negotiate complex agreements with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary organizations to drive financial performance, ensure quality care, and support cost control. Source OON provider targets as needed and ensure all agreements comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for contracting activities, resolving provider issues related to terms and reimbursement. Report to the Vice President, Network Management in a fully remote role open to candidates residing in Dallas, Texas, with a base pay range of $178,848 to $234,738.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, network development, or related areas
- 7+ years experience negotiating complex contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare providers
- 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in a healthcare setting
- Dallas, Texas
