Job Summary
Develop and implement complex contracting strategies with Market Leaders to align network development and cost management objectives. Lead the provider contracting team, mentor staff, and set clear goals. Collaborate with Network Monitoring & Performance to identify gaps and expand provider relationships. Source OON provider targets as needed and lead complex negotiations with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary entities. Execute standard and complex agreements to drive financial performance and ensure quality care access. Resolve provider issues regarding terms, reimbursement, and participation while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Act as the primary contact for healthcare providers on contracting activities. Based in the New York City office on a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, network development, or related areas
- 7+ years experience negotiating complex contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare providers
- 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in a healthcare setting
- hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week
- Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events
