Job Summary
Lead brand planning, competitive landscape assessment, and tactical launch plans for Plozasiran, an siRNA therapy targeting APOC3. Drive product positioning, campaign development, and message creation across HCP and patient audiences while executing integrated marketing campaigns including digital, online media, and national sales meetings. Manage creative and agency partners, oversee project timelines and budgets, and partner with Market Access to advance patient support services. Generate market insights to optimize customer engagement and ensure cross-functional alignment. Requires five days in-office in Pasadena, CA, with 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Direct product launch experience
- Demonstrated success building and leading marketing teams in a matrixed organization
- Strong track record partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales on integrated launch execution
- Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership, present confidently to executive-level audiences, and represent the brand credibly with external stakeholders including KOLs and industry partners
- Experience managing external agencies and marketing budgets
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, prioritize and handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail
- Must be comfortable managing multiple competing, frequently shifting priorities, and working through uncertainty
- Minimum travel requirements of 25% of the time
- Candidates must have current, valid authorization to work in the country where this role is located
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Rare disease, cardiometabolic, or lipid-disorder therapeutic experience
- Experience in cardiometabolic therapeutic area, preferably with a focus on dyslipidemias
- Experience in a smaller, rapidly growing, company
