Job Summary
Lead the definition, alignment, development, and implementation of transformational lending and portfolio strategies across commercial banking programs, with accountability for programs, capital optimization, and customer outcomes. Oversees end-to-end governance and portfolio management to drive consistent execution across lending programs, including origination and risk oversight, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk appetite, and capital allocation priorities. Drive early risk identification, governance discipline, and capital optimization; provide analytics to inform portfolio allocation, pricing discipline, and balance sheet efficiency. Build and monitor frameworks for portfolio tracking and governance in partnership with Risk and business leaders to reinforce clear accountability and oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with commercial lending portfolios/programs
- In-depth commercial banking and lending portfolio management knowledge
- Strong knowledge of process coordination and management
