Job Summary
Advise senior attorneys, management, and staff on nonprofit corporate, compliance, contracting, intellectual property, governance, and litigation matters. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts including sponsorship, grant, non-disclosure, consulting agreements, and licenses. Support organizational compliance with laws regarding lobbying, public policy, and charitable solicitations in New York State. Prepare materials for Board and committee meetings while partnering on governance matters. Monitor legislative developments affecting nonprofit organizations and human resources. Requires a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, admission to New York State bar, and six years of legal experience. Hybrid/In-Person schedule applies.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA accredited U.S. law school
- Admitted to practice law in New York State
- Minimum of six years of experience practicing law
- Experience in contract drafting
- Excellent analytical skills
