Job Summary
Senior Director, Innovation and Technology Partnerships leads Visa Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology Partnerships team, setting the strategic direction for engagement with next-generation technology partners (fintech, Web3, digital platforms) and co-creating pilot-scale solutions. The role drives end-to-end solution development from ideation to pilot and scale, aligns internal and external stakeholders across product, advisory, risk, legal, and regional teams, and builds a robust business development engine to enable repeatable partnership models and revenue growth. It requires a strong executive presence to engage founders, C-suite executives, and senior stakeholders, and operates across Hong Kong and broader APAC. The position demands 15+ years of relevant experience and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years relevant industry experience
- Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Strategic leadership and ecosystem vision in fast-evolving technology landscapes
- Strong familiarity with next-generation technology ecosystems (including digital wallets, embedded finance, stablecoins, and platform-based commerce)
- Proven ability to define and execute partnership strategies
- Track record in partnership development and deal execution
- Experience leading end-to-end solution development across cross-functional teams
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Ability to engage with founders, C-suite executives, and senior stakeholders
- Regional and global mindset with experience in Hong Kong and APAC ecosystems
