Job Summary
Senior Director, Health Systems & Strategy leads provider partnership development, healthcare strategy, and innovation at the Health Fund, directing external relationships with health systems, physician groups, and other partners to support direct contracting, member experience, quality, access, and cost management. Responsibilities include negotiating direct contracting arrangements, establishing governance structures (e.g., Joint Operating Committees), developing performance frameworks and reporting to evaluate provider partnerships, serving as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director, and leading strategy & innovation initiatives. The role requires senior-level relationship management with health system executives, deep knowledge of value-based care and alternative payment models, and the ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution while mentoring staff and collaborating across departments. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred), extensive experience in provider relations/managed care contracting, and demonstrated leadership in healthcare strategy and transformation.
