Job Summary
Senior Director, Head of Visa Commercial Solutions and Visa Government Solutions in the Japan, Korea and Mongolia (JKM) cluster will lead the VCS and Government Solutions portfolios, develop and deploy multi-year growth strategy, meet volume and revenue targets, and manage a high-performing team. The role involves guiding client engagements with Corporate/Treasury/Commercial Cards and Business Banking units, identifying partnerships to expand flows, deploying VCS solutions across segments (Large Corporates, SMBs, Government), and steering Government Solutions initiatives for JKM while collaborating with regional and global teams to achieve plan delivery and business growth. The candidate should drive market-relevant solutions, maintain stakeholder relationships, and contribute to cross-functional strategy with Asia Pacific leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15–20+ years of experience in top tier financial institutions, payments network or financial services firm
- Strong experience in the Commercial Cards, Transaction Banking and/or Cash Management space
- Deep understanding of current B2B payment trends, regulatory environment and current market landscape and gaps
- Outstanding people leader with a track record of building high performing teams
- Strong experience working directly with and influencing clients
- Good knowledge of product management and development, data driven insights and finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional and cross regional teams
- Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
- A Masters of Business degree preferred
- Familiarity with remittance and money-movement business
