Job Summary
Lead end-to-end Calci brand strategy and launch, owning brand planning, messaging architecture, and market access coordination; manage HCP, patient marketing, and KOL engagement across an integrated brand plan; direct a team of 4 and partner with cross-functional groups to ensure compliant, data-driven commercialization for Calci (ADH1) with on-site requirements at SF and Palo Alto; require deep biotech/pharma marketing experience, rare disease launch expertise, and strong leadership with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and executive-level communication; travel ~25% and operate in a pre-launch, high-ambiguity environment; Bachelor’s degree required with MBA or advanced science degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience, with at least 7 years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing
- prior people management experience
- rare disease launch experience (endocrinology or nephrology a differentiator)
- demonstrated success owning brand strategy through launch
- experience leading KOL engagement programs and advisory boards
- experience developing HCP and patient marketing strategies
- ability to travel ~25% for key congresses and field engagement
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced science degree preferred
