Job Summary
Lead the strategy and execution of global payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely delivery across all regions. Build and maintain a globally consistent payroll framework, including policies, controls, governance, and operating procedures that support business growth and geographic expansion. Oversee payroll systems, data integrity, vendor relationships, and service delivery to support a complex, multi-country workforce while driving transformation initiatives like process optimization, automation, and system enhancements. Partner with People Capabilities, Finance, Legal, and Tax teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, leading readiness for acquisitions and workforce events. Develop and lead a high-performing global payroll team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading global payroll operations across multiple countries and regions
- Strong track record of delivering compliant, scalable, and efficient payroll services
- Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed payroll teams in a complex, global environment
- Deep knowledge of global payroll processes, compliance requirements, governance, controls, and risk management
- Experience operating across both in-house and outsourced payroll models
- Proven success leading payroll system implementations, enhancements, or transformations
- Experience with platforms such as Workday, ADP, or similar solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to operational execution
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Right to work in the country where the position is based
Desired Qualifications
- Experience across both in-house and outsourced payroll models and experience leading payroll system implementations or enhancements (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar platforms) preferred
