Senior Director, Global Data Protection & AI Security

Lead Regeneron’s Global Data Protection function as Sr. Director, responsible for the strategy, architecture, and execution of enterprise data protection across DSPM, DLP, insider risk, and data classification. Drive security standards and programs, operate with minimal direction, and serve as the principal spokesperson for data protection to senior management. Own DSPM strategy and program, expand coverage to on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments, and oversee DLP policy deployment leveraging tools like Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, Varonis, and CASB/SASE capabilities. Establish and mature insider risk programs, case management, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Legal, and Security. Engage with governance councils on data protection, privacy security, and AI data risk; interact with IT leadership and external regulators; develop audit-ready documentation and program metrics. Require hands-on experience auditing AI/ML systems, familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog, Snowflake, AWS data lake security architectures, and data catalog platforms (Collibra, Privacera). Certifications such as CISSP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CDPSE, CIPM, CISM are relevant. This on-site role is based 4 days/week at Sleepy Hollow, NY or Warren, NJ with relocation benefits available.
