Job Summary
Senior Director, Global Access Policy leads policy-shaping strategy across Global Market Access to enable patient access for emerging therapies. Partners with TA Market Access Leaders, CMALs, GA&P, and regional partners to identify policy issues, prioritize engagement, and develop strategic policy asset plans. Drives cross-functional collaboration to craft access policy strategies for new modalities and disease areas, conducts stakeholder mapping, and tests asset-related external positions. Builds policy pathways for reimbursement, codes, and pricing, and oversees engagement with external stakeholders to shape health policy and market access objectives. Based on-site in Raritan, NJ or Washington, DC with up to 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s level or PhD. Bachelor’s degree with 10-15 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree in public policy, health policy, market access or pricing policy, or law is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years’ work experience in health care policy, government affairs, health economics, value assessment, market access or related field is required.
- Deep understanding of pricing and reimbursement policies and the policy development process in the US, and other markets.
- Experience working in government, trade associations or market access functions.
