Job Summary
Senior Director of FP&A to serve as a strategic finance partner to the executive leadership team, owning budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts across all business units; lead Series D fundraising, working capital financing, and treasury operations; drive AI transformation of FP&A, accounting, and treasury with AI-powered forecasting, dashboards, and automated variance commentary; migrate the current FP&A model to Prophix; establish company-wide KPI framework with AI-enabled monitoring; hire and coach a high-performing FP&A team; partner with CEO, CFO, and Board on strategic planning and corporate development; requires a strong background in finance for consumer packaged goods or retail, with hands-on experience in capital markets, treasury, and data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- MBA or CFA designation strongly preferred
- 10+ years of finance experience
- minimum 3 years at a bulge bracket investment bank with capital markets execution credentials
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience at a Series B+ retail or CPG company
- Demonstrated experience leading Series C+ equity raises and managing debt facilities, working capital financing, and treasury operations
- Demonstrated success upleveling financial operations and hands-on AI transformation experience
- Experience with FP&A software (e.g., Prophix, Campfire, DataRails, Cube)
- Mastery of 3-statement modeling, scenario analysis, and driver-based financial frameworks
- Strong executive presence; ability to present to C-suite and board audiences
- Builder mentality with focus on developing people and driving results
