Senior Director, Finance (Power Management Division)

Job Summary

Lead the division's finance organization, providing strategic financial leadership, business partnership, and governance across a multi-business-unit organization throughout North America. Establish and drive financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial plans, while overseeing preparation and communication of results to division, segment, and corporate leadership. Partner with business unit leaders to develop growth strategies, execute capital investment plans, and improve operating performance through standardization and continuous improvement. Manage the division-wide finance talent strategy, including organizational design, succession planning, and leadership coaching, while ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and driving timely remediation of audit findings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineered products, electrical infrastructure, capital equipment, or multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated success leading finance organizations across multiple business units, sites, or regions
  • Experience serving as a strategic business partner to senior operational leaders, business unit leaders, or general managers
  • Experience in a project-based business (POC Revenue Recognition)
  • Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, business performance management, and financial strategy
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams and building organizational capability
  • Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent professional accounting designation
  • MBA or advanced business degree
  • Experience within power systems, switchgear, electrical infrastructure, industrial equipment, or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, operational finance, working capital management, inventory, cost accounting, and capital investment analysis
  • Experience leading finance within a multi-business-unit industrial organization
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and business transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in a publicly traded organization with SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience partnering with shared services and global finance organizations
