Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and compliance for the subsidiary's indirect, wholly-owned operations, including accounting, treasury, tax strategy, and external advisor management. Lead monthly close, forecasting, annual planning, and budgeting activities while developing policies to reflect desired performance standards. Build and lead a team of four to five finance professionals and manage outsourced service providers to streamline processes and implement ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accruals, HCP transparency reporting, and timely decision-ready insights for the Executive Leadership Team. Prepare materials for EC and BOD presentations while monitoring business performance against budgets. This role supports the commercialization of a rare disease drug within the ITF Group, requiring a hybrid schedule with two to three days at the Concord, MA HQ.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 to 12 years of broad-based financial and business experience in the life sciences industry
- An excellent track record of achievement
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Recent small-company and pharma commercialization experience
- Prior leadership experience overseeing an FP&A function
- A minimum of five years in a management role
- Exposure to pharma/biotech, clinical trial accounting, and forecasting
- A strong foundation in accounting
- A thorough understanding of financial statements
- An understanding of the interface between external reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong technical finance expertise
- Exposure to tax, treasury, technical accounting, internal controls, and international GAAP variances
- Prior Big 4 or financial accounting experience
- Strong experience with gross-to-net accruals and forecasting
- Experience with co-pay card program accruals and processes
- Experience with HCP transparency reporting and government pricing calculations
- Experience maintaining multiple charts of accounts
- Able to work from our Concord, MA HQ at least two to three days per week on a hybrid model
