Job Summary
Senior Director, Engineering and Technology at Roche Genentech's Holly Springs greenfield plant leads the overall Engineering, Sciences, and Technology strategy for a new high-volume parenteral manufacturing site. Responsible for asset lifecycle management, site maintenance and reliability programs, capital project execution, and implementation of a world-class asset management system. Drives continuous improvement and innovation, develops people and technical capabilities, and builds a cross-functional network to enable GMP-compliant operations. Leads the Site Leadership Team, shapes organizational strategy, and promotes lean and agile ways of working to ensure long-term goals are met. The role includes building a strong talent pipeline, sustaining collaboration with global functions and suppliers, and delivering a scalable technology platform to support next-generation cardiovascular/metabolic medicines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- 15+ years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 6+ years of people and project management experience
- 4+ years of facilities management, engineering, or related experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience leading Maintenance Strategy and world-class maintenance programs
- strong orientation toward internal/external customer service and people development
- experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing in a matrix organization
- familiarity with manufacturing and business processes at a site; understanding industry opportunities and challenges
- proven ability to coach and implement lean and agile ways of working
- excellent English communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
