Job Summary
Senior Director of Engineering for Agentic Business Systems at Wrapbook (Remote - USA / Canada) leads internal AI deployment and the development of agentic workflows across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Operations. Owns platform capabilities to enable non-engineers to safely build and run AI workflows at scale, and ships high-leverage workflows to automate routine tasks. Builds and leads a cross-functional team of engineers, PMs, and embedded business users, partners with functional leaders to prioritize impact, and defines success metrics (adoption, time saved, throughput, cost avoidance) reported to the SVP of Engineering and CEO. Ensures secure, compliant handling of sensitive data and champions responsible adoption. Fellow competencies include startup-scale leadership, hands-on software delivery, strong product instincts, and clear communication to bridge business and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams — ideally a mix of engineering, product, and non-technical contributors
- Strong product instincts with ability to translate business needs into actionable roadmaps
- Technical and hands-on background with a track record of building and shipping software
- Experience building and deploying agentic systems or similar AI-enabled workflows
- Bias toward action and ability to ship iteratively
- Excellent communication and ability to translate between business stakeholders and engineers
