Job Summary
Senior Director of Engagement Marketing leads programs, content, and enablement infrastructure to drive member activation, empanelment, and sustained engagement across Marathon Health’s client base. Owns strategy and execution of B2B2C marketing programs, develops industry-specific resources to empower client-facing teams, trains distributed teams to use self-service toolkits and reporting, and partners with in-house creative for high-quality assets. Responsible for patient-facing content strategy across web, blog, social, and video; build a scalable test-and-learn program; drive measurable outcomes including toolkit adoption and client-specific engagement targets; and lead a team of three marketers with coaching and prioritization across all workstreams. Familiarity with AI tools and emerging agentic workflows is a plus; the role requires collaboration across marketing, client success, sales, product, and clinical operations and a strong systems-thinking approach to scale across populations and clinical models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience
- at least 3 years in a senior leadership role with direct reports
- Proven B2B2C marketing expertise, ideally in healthcare, benefits, or a comparably complex employer-to-consumer context
- experience working alongside client success or account management teams
- career experience spanning both large and small organizations with ability to navigate matrixed teams, build systems, and scale with speed
