Job Summary
This role involves leading ratings analysis, executing and researching North American transactions, and evaluating innovative credit structures in the infrastructure sector, particularly focusing on energy and power. Strong communication skills, flexibility in handling tasks under tight deadlines, and external networking to enhance Fitch's reputation are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of solid project finance related experience in energy and power infrastructure
- Proven project finance and infrastructure credit skills
- Solid writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent modelling skills
- Ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures
- Employee management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Rating agency experience
- Ratings advisory work
- A deep understanding of and a keen interest in infrastructure and project finance
- A professional background in capital markets and/or credit analysis
- Experience in interpreting complex legal documents such as bank agreements and bond indentures
- CFA
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration preferred
