Job Summary
Partner with the Assistant VP to shape the department's long-term vision, fundraising strategies, and annual business plan. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to secure funding for the MGB Cancer Institute, driving annual growth and multi-year revenue targets. Oversee a small team of corporate and foundation fundraising professionals, providing active management, mentorship, and leadership while leading recruiting and onboarding. Personally manage a high-value portfolio of prospects and donors, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and philanthropic priorities. Engage with internal stakeholders, clinicians, researchers, and senior leadership to develop cross-disciplinary funding opportunities. Maintain accurate records in donor databases and remain current on philanthropy trends to serve as an effective ambassador for programs and giving opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience devising and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies
