Job Summary
Senior Director, Communications is responsible for all external communications relating to the Club and Masters Tournament, ensuring consistent messaging across non-licensed media products, issuing press releases and communications to the public, press and media as needed. The role represents Augusta National Golf Club, interfaces directly with the media, coordinates Press Building operations during Tournament week, oversees media relations and credential handling, manages Club publications, website content, and archival materials, and provides public relations support to senior management. The position requires maintaining confidentiality, supervising full-time staff and tournament employees, and being on-site in Augusta, GA. The candidate should have extensive experience in journalism/public relations, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in journalism, public relations, or communications.
- Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience.
- College degree required preferably in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or similar field.
