Job Summary
Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & Programs leads go-to-market programs under the Chief Commercial Officer, owning strategic projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include building board-ready materials and executive communications, driving cross-functional alignment and program management across marketing, operations, and enablement, deploying AI-powered workflows, leading an internal Center of Excellence for commercial best practices, and managing special initiatives like the Commercial Roundtable. The role emphasizes AI adoption, change management, and continuous improvement of commercial processes, with hands-on experience deploying AI agents and shaping tools and playbooks for the commercial organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience, including 3–5 years in management consulting (strategy, operations, or GTM focus at MBB, Big 4, or boutique strategy firm)
- 3-5 years commercialization experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device space preferred
- Demonstrated experience at a venture-backed or high-growth company that scaled rapidly — 3–10x revenue or headcount growth within 2–3 years
- Hands-on track record of deploying AI agents and building workflows around LLMs within a commercial or operations function
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — ability to build board decks and executive memos
- High proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM; understanding of pipeline hygiene and data quality impact on decision-making
