Job Summary
Senior Director, Clinical Research Oncology to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Oncology Clinical Development function, shaping development strategies, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory alignment, and delivering high-quality clinical data across phases from first-in-human through registrational studies. Lead and mentor clinical scientists, oversee study design and data review, partner with Clinical Operations, engage with investigators and regulatory agencies, and drive cross-functional governance and internal/external stakeholder interactions to advance oncology programs.
Required Qualifications
- MD, PhD, or PharmD in oncology or related discipline
- 12+ years of experience in oncology clinical research and drug development
- Proven leadership of clinical research teams across early- and late-stage programs
- Experience contributing to or leading regulatory submissions and interactions (preferred)
- Strong understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines, regulatory expectations, and clinical data interpretation
- Knowledge of translational and biomarker strategies informing development decisions
- Collaborative leadership with cross-functional partnership
