Senior Director, Business Development

Senior Director, Business Development responsible for identifying, evaluating, and closing new biopharmaceutical opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients. Develop territory-specific strategies for the UK and Benelux, leverage an established network of UK/Benelux biopharma companies, VC firms, and incubators, and coordinate site visits, presentations, and proposals to advance the sales process toward contract closure. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts for KBI services, managing client relationships and proposals, coordinating CDA/MSA reviews, facilitating quality audits and quality agreements, maintaining CRM updates, and representing KBI at trade shows and scientific meetings. Travel up to ~50% to client sites and events. Requires a Technical Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years in European life sciences BD, strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across internal teams, and familiarity with regulatory requirements; willingness to travel domestically within the UK/Benelux region and to trade shows and scientific gatherings. The role is home-based in the UK (London, Oxford, or Cambridge preferred) with remote work in the UK. KBI emphasizes client-focused engagements and a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
