Job Summary
Senior Director, Business Development at BioVid responsible for generating new business by pitching work to new clients, identifying rising opportunities, and building long-term relationships. Lead outreach to priority organizations to set up initial meetings and drive RFPs; collaborate with the head of department to assess and target opportunities; develop and maintain account strategies with account leads; coach account leaders on client relationships and prospecting; manage CRM activity to track meetings, calls, and outreach; support proposal and pitch deck development; represent BioVid at industry conferences; serve as interim account lead for new/smaller accounts during relationship-building; leverage industry contacts and research support for conversations; require college degree or work experience, 7+ years in BD, team-based selling, strong communication, and pharmaceutical industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or work experience equivalent
- 7+ years of Business Development experience
- Experience with team-based selling
- Excellent time management and personal organization skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF Pro
- CRM experience (Salesforce)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Good communication and writing skills
- Strong analytical skills
