Job Summary
Director, Senior Director, or Assistant Vice President — policy analysis role focused on developing credible analyses and advocacy materials to support outreach to policymakers, third parties, and the media. Responsibilities include analyzing federal/state legislation and regulations impacting the coal fleet and its supply chain; preparing advocacy and education materials; communicating America's Power positions; and providing legal analyses in collaboration with counsel. Requires exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; deep knowledge of the electric power sector and related regulations; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and industry databases. Minimum 10 years of policy analysis experience; BS required with MS preferred in economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
