Job Summary
Senior Director, Asia Regional Logistics responsible for defining and executing APAC logistics strategy across a multi-country network supporting 8 WD material warehouses, inter-plant logistics, and factory operations. Drives cross-border operations, trade compliance, and digital transformation while managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external 3PLs. Oversees inbound material management, warehousing, and inter-plant movements, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve service. Leverages data analytics and AI/ML to optimize transportation, warehouse network, and overall logistics performance. Builds and develops a high-performing APAC logistics organization, collaborates with procurement and 3PL partners, and supports APAC readiness for new product introductions.*/,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 12–15+ years of logistics/supply chain/operations experience with significant leadership roles in APAC region
- Strong experience in high-tech industries (electronics, semiconductors, telecom equipment)
- Proven track record of managing complex operational environments with high performance
- Proven track record of developing and leading high-impact operational teams in APAC region
- Proven track record of driving transformational change leading to improvements in operational performance, productivity, and cost reduction in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and teams
