Senior Director, APAC Sales

Job Summary
Senior Director, APAC Sales responsible for leading and directing all APAC commercial sales efforts across direct and distributor channels to maximize revenue and operational excellence. Owns APAC sales strategy across key markets (China, Korea, Japan, Australia, India) and manages a regional team of sales reps and distributors, including KOL engagement, demand generation, and forecasting. Drives regional market development, collaborates with cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Finance, Product Management, Commercial Operations), and oversees budgeting and quarterly/annual sales goals. Will engage directly with KOLs, prospect strategic accounts, participate in industry conferences, and sponsor regional regulatory and market-access workstreams in coordination with HQ. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (life sciences or biomedical engineering preferred), 10+ years in life sciences sales with APAC multi-country experience, experience in NGS sales, and Mandarin fluency desirable; travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (in life science or biomedical engineering preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in life sciences sales
- multi-country APAC quota ownership
- experience in selling in NGS/genomics tools
- strong leadership and mentoring experience
- Mandarin fluency desirable
- familiarity with APAC regulatory pathways relevant to genomics and IVD products preferred
- experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
