Job Summary
Develop and execute AONL's enterprise-wide marketing and communications strategy, partnering across departments to ensure strategies support organizational priorities while delivering measurable business results. Lead brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and audience development to strengthen visibility, and oversee integrated campaigns across digital, print, email, web, social media, and events. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on market opportunities and audience engagement, utilizing analytics to optimize performance and identify growth. Manage departmental budgets, agencies, and vendors while coaching a high-performing team. This hybrid role reports to the Chief Operating Officer at the American Hospital Association, offering three days in the office and two days remote.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Marketing, communications, business administration, healthcare administration or related field
- 10+ years Progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, audience development, or related disciplines
- 5+ years Leadership experience managing professional staff
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that support organizational growth
- Experience utilizing analytics, market research, and audience insights to inform strategic decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, financial management, and relationship-building skills
- Advanced understanding of enterprise marketing strategy, brand management & positioning, organizational communications, audience development & engagement, advertising & media strategy and digital marketing
- Advanced understanding of revenue growth support, business analytics & market intelligence, strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, financial & budget management, change leadership and vendor & partner management
