Job Summary
Senior Director, AI Partnerships at RBC oversees end-to-end AI vendor relationships and strategy for the AI Group, including foundation model providers, AI platform vendors, and academic research institutions. Responsible for complex negotiations of enterprise agreements, licensing terms, and partnership structures, coordinating with procurement, legal, third-party risk, and finance. Drives governance, risk management, cost optimization, and performance management across the AI vendor ecosystem, with leadership responsibilities and opportunities to shape RBC's AI roadmap and partnerships across a global financial services context. Will represent RBC at industry events and lead a team to deliver strategic value for AI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in technology vendor management, strategic partnerships, or procurement within complex enterprise environments
- proven track record managing high-value, multi-million dollar vendor relationships with major technology providers
- experience negotiating complex technology contracts including SaaS agreements, platform licenses, and enterprise service agreements
- strong understanding of AI technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise technology ecosystems
