Senior Director, Adult Acute Services

Job Summary
Direct daily operations, budgeting, and human resource management for the Adult Acute service line while establishing and monitoring goals aligned with the medical center's strategic objectives. Lead enterprise-wide efforts to develop, implement, and enhance professional nursing practice across all domains. Provide an environment of patient- and family-centered care by interpreting organizational change impacts and formulating collaborative strategies with stakeholders. Prepare and deliver reports to operational leadership detailing progress on finance, clinical activity, quality, safety, and human resources. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, three years of progressive leadership experience, and hospital-based Med/Surg and RNU experience. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Three years of relevant professional progressive nursing leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing or Business or Healthcare Admin degree
- Five (5) years experience
- Ability to work collaboratively across CMC and disciplines
- Demonstrated commitment to patient- and family centered care
- Broad knowledge of modern health care administration practices and principles
- Hospital based experience in Med/Surg and RNU
- Possession of discipline-specific board certification
- Certification in patient safety and/or clinical quality
- Leadership experience as a nursing services unit director
