Job Summary
Conduct actuarial research and supervise work to advise senior management on product pricing, dividend setting, reserve levels, and field compensation. Identify and solve complex actuarial problems related to mortality, morbidity, persistency, and investment experience while maintaining equity among policyowners. Keep current on industry techniques, laws, and regulations to provide guidance to department officers and represent the company on professional committees. Requires FSA designation, seven years of significant actuarial experience, and ability to direct subordinate activities. Hybrid work arrangement available.
Required Qualifications
- A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
- Minimum of seven years of significant Actuarial experience
- Substantial knowledge and experience in a variety of actuarial subjects
- Ability to manage interdepartmental projects and to direct activities of subordinates who are at the officer level
- Knowledge of Company, industry and regulatory practice and procedures
