Job Summary
Lead the technical buildout and expansion of the Earnix rating engine across multiple lines of business by refining rating algorithms and driving automation efforts. Manage a team of three actuarial analysts, overseeing talent development, performance management, and succession planning while mentoring less experienced staff. Independently perform complex actuarial analyses to solve business problems, translate ambiguous needs into analytical solutions, and advocate for process improvements aligned with enterprise strategy. Partner with data science and engineering teams to shape new workflows and champion the platform internally, while communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences and influencing cross-unit initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in STEM related field
- Associate Actuarial Credential
- 8+ years of quantitative analysis experience
- Strong understanding of insurance products and industry
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts
- Leadership experience
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and translate complex information to leadership and non-technical teams
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (eg. SQL, SAS)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of comprehensive quantitative analysis experience

- Hands-on Python skills
- Experience working across complex, cross-functional programs
- Familiarity with rating engine platforms or commercial lines pricing
