Job Summary
Provide full support to individuals including dining, lifting, direct personal care, and development of activities. Supervise and oversee individuals to ensure they carry out their goals while accurately documenting and providing services. Implement day program plans that foster self-determination, independent activity, and greater community inclusion. May function as a Team Leader directing all staff assigned to the program area. Requires high school diploma, one year of job-related experience with people with developmental disabilities, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Salary ranges from $18.42 to $19.51.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of job related experience
- Specifically working with people with developmental disabilities or related field
- A minimum of an Associate's degree
- Two completed years of college
- Associate's degree or two completed years of college in lieu of the 1 year experience
- At least 18 years old
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
