Senior Digital Learning Support Technologist

Job Summary
Design, build, configure, maintain, and quality-assure digital learning environments across Milpark’s learning systems and platforms. Build and configure course pages in Canvas or the relevant VLE, set up digital assessments (dates, gradebook, release conditions), embed student engagement tools, ensure templates and workflows meet institutional requirements, and perform rigorous QA checks before go-live. Collaborate with academic staff, project teams, IT, and other stakeholders to translate approved module requirements into accurate, functional LMS builds, ensure data integrity across integrated platforms (LMS, SIS), and support the student lifecycle with reliable, student-friendly digital spaces. Maintain platform usability and contribute to documentation, testing, and the continuous improvement of digital learning practices. Required: a bachelor’s degree (minimum) with strong LMS administration, course-building, and digital assessment configuration skills; advanced computer literacy; familiarity with data management and system integrations; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred: postgraduate degree, platform-specific certifications, HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics, accessibility and user-centered design knowledge, and experience in higher education digital learning environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (at minimum) in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Technology, Education with a focus on Technology Integration; platform certifications (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard/D2L) and IT Support certifications preferred
