Job Summary
Balance user needs with brand storytelling by designing distinctive UI systems that translate identities into digital interfaces featuring interaction and motion. Shape experiences end-to-end, guiding projects from discovery and research through wireframes, prototypes, and final delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, developers, and clients to deliver seamless outcomes while mentoring designers and elevating the team's craft. This hands-on senior role sits within JKR's London studio, supporting the agency's mission to build brands across the consumer experience. You will work on projects ranging from start-ups to global giants, leveraging a strong portfolio and expertise in tools like Figma and After Effects to create user-first, brand-led digital impact.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Digital designer Designer (agency or product background) with a strong portfolio spanning multiple platforms demonstrating your brand thinking and crafted executions.
- Clearly show your discovery phases and how they informed the direction you took a brand in digitally.
- A sharp eye for UI craft: distinctive digital design, interaction, design systems, templating, and atomic design.
- Comfort with Figma, FigJam, Miro and other collaboration tools.
- Experience with motion and animation tools (e.g. After Effects, Jitter) to enhance user experiences.
- A track record of mentoring, presenting, and influencing clients and colleagues with confidence and clarity.
- Hybrid working policy, minimum 2 days pw in the studio
