Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, performing troubleshooting on electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems. Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs using diagnostic software, technical manuals, and computerized tools to identify root causes and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate service documentation while working safely across multiple shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Valid driver's license required; OEM certifications and advanced diagnostic experience preferred. Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, truck technician, or related role
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment
  • Valid driver's license required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic diagnostics and repair software is preferred
  • OEM certifications (Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Allison, Volvo, MTU, or similar)
  • Technical school or diesel technology training
  • CDL or willingness to obtain one
  • Advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting experience
