Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trailers, and heavy equipment including excavators, trucks, and forklifts. Troubleshoot fuel, brake, transmission, hydraulic, suspension, exhaust, and electrical systems using diagnostic software like Davie 4. Perform preventive maintenance, test repairs for safe operation, and maintain accurate records compliant with DOT and OSHA standards. Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM in a high-heat, dusty industrial environment. Requires 3+ years of diesel experience, Foundation Brake Certification, and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Experience working on trucks, trailers, excavators, forklifts, loaders, and similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience with Davie 4 diagnostic software
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Foundation Brake Certification
- Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment
- Expect to perform physically demanding tasks (bending, climbing, pushing, etc.)
- Expect to perform repetitive movements
- Expect to perform lifting from 50-75 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- preferably with trailers and mixed heavy equipment
- Cummins Certification
- CDL license
