Senior Diesel Technician- 2nd Shift (Houston, TX)

Job Summary
Perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, such as inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes. Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems, plan repairs, and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions. Maintain accurate records of each repair and complete all required daily reporting. Inspect fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance, and manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. Adhere to strict safe work practices to comply with Company, DOT, and OSHA regulations. Work Monday through Friday starting at 2:00 pm with rotational Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in fleet maintenance
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals)
- Experience with applicable Microsoft and diagnostic applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
- Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus
