Job Summary
Senior Diesel Mechanic at WM with a focus on diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel trucks and equipment. Perform repairs within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs), estimate time/material costs, respond to emergency service calls, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop. Responsibilities include reviewing or assigning repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, assisting other mechanics, completing required paperwork, and supporting a growing fleet including CNG vehicles. Must be able to work Monday–Friday (with possible rotating Saturdays) in Brockway, PA, starting around 9am, with a stable schedule and opportunities for education assistance and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
