Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment while responding to emergency service calls. Estimate time and material costs for repairs, perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times, and complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, maintaining a clean work area in compliance with OSHA standards. You must hold a valid driver's license, own your tools, and successfully complete a mandatory two-week training program in Arizona. This role involves working Sunday through Friday on the third shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with occasional weekends at a repair shop in Seattle, WA, servicing equipment that supports over 20 million customers across the USA.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years or more experience
- Hydraulic knowledge
- Electrical diagnosing knowledge
- Engine diagnostic knowledge
- CNG
- Driver's License
- Own tools
- Must be able to do mandatory 2 week training in Arizona
- Valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push, pull, crouch, and climb
- Must be able to stand, walk, and grasp
- Must be able to sit and balance occasionally
- Must be able to work in inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions
- Must be able to work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
- Must be able to work in dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements
- Must be able to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.)
- Must be able to work in Sunday – Friday every week
- Must be able to work 3rd Shift 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
- Must be able to work occasional weekends
